News announcement 5 February 2025
This year, ORIC will be replacing our online portal for lodging reports and updating corporation information. We’re planning the changeover for the end of March 2025.
myCorp will have all the functionality and more of the current portal, with a more user-friendly interface.
Users will be able to do more online, with new forms for:
- lodging documents seeking member approval for a related party financial benefit for ORIC review
- lodging an application to delegate powers of directors
- getting in touch to ask your questions
- reporting concerns about corporations to ORIC.

We’re also introducing straight-through processing. The system will automatically update information to the public register on ORIC’s website. Information that will now be uploaded automatically includes:
- general reports
- updates to general corporation details (including contact details, addresses and industry areas)
- updates to lists of members
- appointments and resignations of auditors.
The look and feel of our public registers will also change. This is the Register of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporations and the Register of Disqualified Officers.

Important changes to know
- You will need to sign up for a myCorp user account, even if you already have one. You won’t be able to do this until the new system is live.
- User accounts will use an email address for the user name. To have a user account you will need to use an email address that nobody else is using.
Please keep an eye on this announcement. This is where we will provide further information about key dates for outages and action required.
