About special administrations

Special administration is a form of external administration unique to the CATSI Act. It is a regulatory assistance mechanism enabling the Registrar to provide targeted support and oversight in certain circumstances prescribed by the CATSI Act. It is designed to help stabilise the corporation, maintain important services, strengthen governance, protect members' interests and support the corporation's ongoing operations and long-term sustainability.
